Country Comfort Animal Hospital, founded by Dr. Louise-Anne Morin, specializes in the personal care that you want for your pet. Whether it is for a routine check-up, vaccination, illness, surgery or to remove a burr, your pet will receive individual and caring attention. As we continue to grow we will be adding more pet supplies.

  • Dr. Louise-Anne Morin

    A native of Mont Tremblant, Canada, Dr. Louise-Anne Morin attended Sherbrooke College where she earned her Veterinary/Animal Health Technician's degree prior to completing her undergraduate degree in animal science with a major in genetic engineering from McGill University in Montreal. While completing her internship and residency at the Animal Medical Center in New York City, Dr. Morin realized her aspirations to become a veterinarian, and enrolled at Ross School of Veterinary Medicine where she subsequently earned her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 1995. Dr. Morin began her veterinary career on Long Island before moving to the Hudson Valley in 1997. For the past 5 years she has been a junior partner at a local veterinary hospital. Dr. Morin is the Director of Surgery for the Port Jervis (N.Y.) Humane Society (2004-present) and also works at the Dutchess County SPCA in Hyde Park, NY. Dr. Morin has just recently opened her own veterinary practice, the Country Comfort Animal Hospital, located in Millbrook, New York.
